The Blaak Sheep
My name is Rochelle Blaak-Herron. Welcome to my site! Did you wonder about the spelling of “blaak sheep”? Well, my maiden name is Blaak and is of Dutch origin, with no particular meaning that we know of, except for the name of a train station in Rotterdam.
Meaning
In this case, the meaning of the black sheep spelling remains. What makes me stand out from the paler ewes and rams out there? My voice is honest and unique. Using less words creates more detail when choosing the right words at the right moments, inducing a positive reaction from your audience. I write all the things you don’t have time for or hate to do, from blogs to business ads to biographies.
History
Born and raised in Southwestern Ontario, I migrated to the greener pastures of the Canadian West Coast in search of a fresh lifestyle and educational ventures. In 2007, after studying English literature and acquiring a professional writing diploma, I created blaak sheep–not your average writing and have been transforming the written word ever since.
Residing in Burnaby, B.C. with my husband, son, and two cats, I focus on business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) strategic marketing writing while dabbling in short story creation.
Solid Experience
I have also worked for several organizations in communications and public relations. From creating strategic plans to developing press releases, I use this knowledge and experience to suit your individual needs.
